Water Leak Reported For A Home We Manage In Boynton Beach Florida

The tenant reported a water leak for a home that we manage in Boynton Beach Florida. The tenant stated that when he came back he noticed that there was water leak in the garage. As usual we sent the our licensed plumber to investigate. The plumber reported that the walls in the foyer, closets and garage where waterlogged. He opened the wall and noticed that the water was coming from a broken copper water supply line under the slab.

It is  the property managers duty to prevent any further damage in order to comply insurance policy requirements. We contacted All Dry USA to conduct water extraction and the dry out. After the plumber made the necessary repairs we filed the insurance claim, met with the insurance adjusters and proceeded to obtain bids from our vendors.  Since the tile was not available we instructed the plumber to re route all the plumbing through the ceiling which in turn saved the owners from replacing 1600 square foot of tile.

We saved the owner time and  Money, approximately $9600.00. Please feel free to review the before and after pictures below.
